Around $0.55 Cents Per New league pass subscriber. Eventually we lose money or barely break even depending on factors of running a streaming website. We may not immediately stream it for a couple months!

Seriously!

  1. We’re gonna be streaming 100’s-1000+ videos.
  2.  70% of videos we stream are Candid League videos and Hobbyist videos.
  3. Hobbyist have the option to choose to share their video for free, to every registered user on the site. This is why we limit registrations for months, to manage high bandwidth usage and costs of free videos, especially being Rank #3 on google for candid ass.
  4. Having 500+ users and growing, streaming HD worldwide is Expensive! We use the same technology as Netflix.
  5. Candid League has to file & pay taxes, especially since we use stripe to collect monthly payments, likewise our paypal business account. We have to play by the rules or we wouldn’t exist.
  6. We have to Pay for every single request to stream a video. Basically every time someone watches a video we’re paying for it!
  7. Candid League actually loses money because of storage and distribution. By adding more videos, we’re increasing our storage, and free videos are being streamed by 1000’s of people a month worldwide simultaneously.
  8. We also have to pay for the website server bill apart from AWS.
  9. There are NO ADS on Candid League

Pretty much every time we offer to buy your video its a gamble for us:

Will your video make 20 people to join league pass? or retain the ones we have?

In exchange of the exposure promoting your social media/videos and to advertise on the forum and other platforms.

Even if we gained more subscribers, now that’s an additional 20 people PLUS existing members watching that video.

So now we’ve increased our bandwidth, storage, and per requests every time a user watches the video. We can already forecast 5k+ People watching free videos a month by the end of 2024.

This is why Candid League is selective of the video sought after. Its based on the League Pass subscribers demand, and our cost to run service. The risk of adding more videos, especially free ones.

We’re essentially carefully “stacking the blocks”. Depending on who joins the pro league making a profit is a long way for anyone. If you’re in it for the ride now we can experiment with different ways for videographers to monetize. Perhaps with things going well turning $5-15 to $25-50 per video and other monetization/sales strategies to leverage streaming costs and profitability of videographers.
